OMG, went up to 18 camera (again) from 16 and my cpu went from 50 to 100.....Finally found ONE thing on this site: On each camera, check "Limit Decoding" and my cpu went down to 10%....

Well, have had some success with CPU. But, I start up blueiris (not as a service), cpu starts about 60%, then over an hour ends up at 95%. I can close the program, restart it and the process starts over. I tweaked the FPS on the 30fps cam down to 20fps and that helped....18 cams total...

Something changed since about 3/20 or a little later. My cpu was about 50%. I changed nothing and can not seem to get it below 97%. 18 4k cams i7 32 meg. I did one thing, I added an Amcrest 4k POE, the new one that does 30FPS....seems to be the culprit. I needed a fast cam in that location...

This seemed to become a problem, again, the last month. Have: 18 4k cams on 65" 4k display i7 / 1070 Nvidia / 32 megs mem. Cpu just stayed at 99 or 100%. I started looking at it, tried every cpu option, NO, intel, intel+video, intel+something else, and my Nvidia...choosing any option, restarting...

not sure why bugs like to sit on my camera lens, but have webs and insects just sitting on some of my cams....In the barn, a fly (alive) has chosen his favorite place to sit, right on the lens...that's life...

OK, things are looking up. Implemented several recommended changes. CPU dropped to about 10%. I am getting some clip errors, but that can wait. I am on a small farm, work at home on computers. I am on my 3rd 1000 foot roll of CAT6A. Got about 20 cams at this time, 10 more in boxes. most...

Holy crap...I just bought 2 i7 8700 32 gig of mem m.2 system disk. I have about 20 cameras at this time and my cpu is 100%. I am a long time computer guy....just can't believe all this crap I am reading. I have been setting the FPS to 5 or 10 for most cams in the BI software. Maybe that is not...
