LaView NVR to BI at remote location

Well, download is 50Mb and Upload is 5 Mb. No caps. Looking to get only 3 cameras on substream, or all. I should be fine, I assume. My best bet, I did not tried it, is to connect with BI to the external IP of the NVR but instead to invoke NVR's http port (8xxx) I would invoke a camera port...

LaView NVR to BI at remote location

No suggestions, anyone? Can I pull the NVR live view into BI? If yes, how do I do it? Individual cameras, or the whole system at once? What commands do I use? Ports? Any suggestions, at all? Thank you!

LaView NVR to BI at remote location

Hello, I have questions regarding setting up a NVR on location A, to BI on location B, if it's possible - locations are in different states. I have a LaView NVR new setup, model LV-KND988P86D242-T2. Comes with 4 bullet cameras model LV-PB932F4 and 2 dome LV-PD50208. These are POE. The NVR is...

PTZ Ip Cam Fails to stream video after power outage but PTZ works - please help!

Thanks! Yes, ptz works fine. So does any other settings from the camera through the software. It's on the network, responds fine to ping. But no video feed. It's too cold now to take it down and mess with it inside. Is it possible that camera sensor just went dead?

PTZ Ip Cam Fails to stream video after power outage but PTZ works - please help!

Blue Iris kills my i7 pc

Thanks. CPU is fine now, using direct to disk recording. Issue still stands with cams loosing network on BI. Around 5 minutes, like a cycle. First one cam, gets back online in 10 seconds, jumps to the other cam, back online in 10 seconds and so on all cams. In one minute all my cams go down one...

Thank you for the info. Is based on tpsee, I have up to date firmwares on all cams. I don't know if I would use TCP fix due the mix firmwares versions in there. A lot of issues mentioned there got solved. I did not tried milestone, but I did Genius Vision. Also ISpy, xeoma, sighthound and a few...

Blue Iris kills my i7 pc

Ha, makes sense now. Just gotta figure out the ports. Check this picture: Cam 1 and 3 run on 7000 and 80 UDP. Can 2, keeps dropping, is on TCP. As the picture says, BI won't check bitrate on UDP cams, so maybe that's the answer. Due the bitrate I loose cams. Also, I mentioned above, BI...

One more update. I switched one of the camera on UDP RTP with default port 7000. Worked all night without dropping the signal. All others dropped the signal all night. I tried today to set a second camera to UDP, but it looks like I have to give it a different port than 7000. Assuming that BI...

Blue Iris kills my i7 pc

Hello, I was not able to stop the cameras from loosing signal. I did the following combinations: - on the camera, over the web, I tried vbr, cbr and cbvr. I change bitrate from 3000 to 4000 to 5000 (default). I changed i-frame to 30 and back to 100(default). I unchecked all notifications, alarm...

Thank you. I am no developer, I do networking and specialized in Microsoft architecture. That setup looks good, and from what it says, 1% CPU on a Atom is really really good. But without further explanations and or some testing, that might not be true. Leaving just Windows clean install in that...

I search camnet surveillance, not much results. Can you give some explanations what is camnet, where can be found, what it does? Is running on Windows, right? What services in windows are enabled? Once I get the answer, I will tell you what I believe. Thanks

I do agree with Fenderman. All softwares that I've tested before are pricey, some more complex than other but there are still bugs on them too. Usually they charge per camera, and some of them charge for sms and email alerts. The UC2 software, so far was the most stable and simple and worked...

Blue Iris kills my i7 pc

It's a nice setup. I don't mind spending money on hardware that delivers, and as I said before, using maximum resolution, frames and features that BI offers will require a I7 I assume. The number of cameras will go up to 12 at one point. Problem with the CPU got solved, I can get more details...

Blue Iris kills my i7 pc

I will try tonight to bypass my network, use a switch right on the modem, plug the cams and PC on there. That should take care of any firewalls or any other networking issues. Next, I will try to change in web interface of the camera a lower bitrate, as 4000, and maybe try to change from cbr...

Tested after last night modification, basically changed to direct to disk. The CPU averages 12%, and is wonderful. I just changed the iFrames today from 100 default to 30, on each camera web interface, I will report later. In the mean time, some pics during the day, using PrintScreen, on UC2...

OK, let's do some testing. Same setup, different PC, same specs but 8 GB RAM. Will only run 3 cams, one is down for now. I will use Print screen for all my shots, if anything else need it, just ask. McAfee antivirus on this system is on and running. Shot on computer running plain, just with...

Thank you again. I will post tonight or tomorrow some screenshots. Image in BI and other software. CPU usage and some others. Thank you for direct to disk suggestion. I will try it, and report the change. All other softwares mentioned do h264 compression, in AVI format. PTZ General support in Blue Iris with no brand China cam

Makes sens. I will try to use instead "1" a combination of "preset 1", "p1" or so tonight. I will post results. Too bad there is no convention name standard for this, as in programming. Any suggestion on Home preset? Is home preset #1 or is something that I'm missing? Thank you for ispy...
