I ordered the netgear LB1120 LTE Modem instead...have not received it yet but I will just take the simm card from Mifi device and this way will not have to bother with tethering via USB. will just hook it up to my existing router.

I am using my ATT MIFI at a remote lodge but I am running into a hard limit of 8 IP devices supported and since I already have thermostats and other IOTs I am wondering how I could include BI and 4 IP cameras (wifi too) ...computer has both wifi and wired ethernet and could probably "route"...

Lots of discussions on cameras that I would need to buy online..however I'd like to buy a decent one at local store like Best Buy/Walmart/Home Depot and for many of their cameras (Nest,...) I am worried would steer me towards cloud storage and not be "compatible" with BI? My Samsung Smart Cam...

I heard that Samsung might have pushed an upgrade a while back that prevents it to work with BI..Like you I get the same errors. The fact that you need a special plug in and only works with IE makes me suspicious. Samsung is now pushing for cloud storage!
