How to use ATT MIFI with BI ...(limited IP devices)

I ordered the netgear LB1120 LTE Modem instead...have not received it yet but I will just take the simm card from Mifi device and this way will not have to bother with tethering via USB. will just hook it up to my existing router.

How to use ATT MIFI with BI ...(limited IP devices)

thanks! AT&T Velocity (MF923) From the tutorial it seems I can tether to my computer for sure...will pass by ATT to make sure and look at mini router you mentioned. At 10/month this saves me tons of money over a flakey DSL I have as an option

How to use ATT MIFI with BI ...(limited IP devices)

I am using my ATT MIFI at a remote lodge but I am running into a hard limit of 8 IP devices supported and since I already have thermostats and other IOTs I am wondering how I could include BI and 4 IP cameras (wifi too) ...computer has both wifi and wired ethernet and could probably "route"...

Any good BI compatible cam at local BestBuy or such

Lots of discussions on cameras that I would need to buy online..however I'd like to buy a decent one at local store like Best Buy/Walmart/Home Depot and for many of their cameras (Nest,...) I am worried would steer me towards cloud storage and not be "compatible" with BI? My Samsung Smart Cam...

Anyone having recent trouble getting Samsung Smartcam (SNH-P6410BN) to connect with Blue Iris?

I heard that Samsung might have pushed an upgrade a while back that prevents it to work with BI..Like you I get the same errors. The fact that you need a special plug in and only works with IE makes me suspicious. Samsung is now pushing for cloud storage!

Whoah lot's of feedback which is great. A few comments: -It all started with my DSL router being hard to access although now they showed me how to set up it as a bridge and buy my own router. -The IP address on the router has changed a few times which required to either pay extra for static...

Any way to remote access without port forwarding in router?

What is the rational for BI not to have all that stuff built in? I mean work right out of the box I spent $50 or so plus $10 on each IOS and Android App to find out I can't connect remotely without extra software or playing with the router. Seems "outdated" to me. Every device I have bought...

Any way to remote access without port forwarding in router?

Sorry brand new user and for the life of me I can't figure out if BI can be setup for remote access WITHOUT going into the DSL router and doing port forwarding and using dyn/dns service....both of which I have done in the distant past but are a pain to start with. However the reason now is I...
