Problem logging in from Android with wifi off

Alright, you did it again. I was able to create a static LAN IP (currently wasn't static) and luckily remembered how to delete and add Blue Iris to the pinhole. I've put two digital donuts in your virtual account. You've been a tremendous help. Question, is there anything to be concerned about...

Problem logging in from Android with wifi off

We had AT&T come in late last year to run new lines to our house but since our neighborhood doesn't have fiber yet, we're stuck at 25Mbps. Believe it or not, I work for Discovery Channel but cut cable a couple years ago so we only have internet with AT&T. Hope the attached images below are what...

Problem logging in from Android with wifi off

I looked it up and it's the current IP address. In the router, setting under connection type it says "Direct IP (DHCP or Static)". I know you probably don't know how to configure my Pace model but are there typically settings within the router for the customer to change to static or DCHP or is...

Problem logging in from Android with wifi off

Hi All, I know in the past I've been able to log in to my cameras through the BI app with wifi off but now I can only log in when I'm on my phone and on my home wifi. What don't I have set up correctly? I have an Pace router/modem through AT&T and set it up to allow the BI server through my...

Camera IP got hijacked by my Roku

You did it! It's funny, I've had these cameras for a year or so and somehow blindly set it all up back then. After your help, I can't believe I actually had them working back then. Learned a lot this time and REALLY appreciate the help.

Camera IP got hijacked by my Roku

Just tried it. Reset the camera and it will only show up in the IE browser when connected to ethernet cable. Also since the last time the camera was online, the IP address changed but I understand that's the DCHP issue I also need to tackle once I get this wifi issue solved.

Camera IP got hijacked by my Roku

Thanks for that. Pulling my hair out though. I rebooted the camera and used the Amcrest app to create a new camera profile. Problem with that is, the camera will only complete a set-up using the ethernet option and not wifi. Once the profile is created using the ethernet cable, I can see the...

Camera IP got hijacked by my Roku

I know the IP address and I'm on the "LAN IP address allocation" page in my router. There is a drop down menu to select dozens of IP addresses. Next to the IP address it says "Private Fixed". I see plenty of YouTube vids on how to assign a static IP address in Windows 10 but not for a device...

Camera IP got hijacked by my Roku

Hi All, So I have an Amcrest indoor IP camera and it has been up for a few months but it has gone offline from Blue Iris and even the Amcrest mobile app can't see it. I've even tried to open the IP address in Internet Explorer and that won't even work. I noticed last night in my AT&T router...

    Hello there

Hello All, Glad to be here. I'm fresh into the surveillance scene and ready to learn. I live in a dumb house so I'll be going through the growing pains of connecting cameras via wifi and POE. I already have a few Amcrest cameras up on the inside and am shopping for a Sunbu with a huge NV range...
