Yea I can see the clips in calendar and the alerts on the side of the computer but I don't see any alert in the alert section of my blue iris app. Not sure if it's just not connecting or just buffering or sormthing. But I update it and nothing shows up

Yea. Was thinking of setting this up at my dad too. And I want to have two blue iris apps to connect remotely to two IP address. I don't want to have to change the IP address everytime to connect to each one.

Ok I ran it at bitrate is 2048 and frame rate is at 15fps. and change the resolution to 1280x720 and it works fine for now. The image ratio is small due to the resolution but it can work. Still pretty clear.

Yea. Is there any way to improve the wifi connection. I mean the time is not smooth at all. Skips a few seconds. It's like lag or something. Video quality is good compare to a dlink camera I got from Costco. But the dlink never skips a beat with wifi. Anything to improve on this wifi? Thanks.

sorry for the noob questions and thanks for the help. i type in the address of the camera and got a username and password login screen. not sure what the username is since i used SADP software and all it had was the password that i could change. - - - Updated - - - ok it was admin

Like I used SADP program to change the password. Not sure where is advance configuration

Yup I wired them in and changed the password. Just don't know how to connect it to the router wirelessly.

but like what if you install it and you dont want it to aim at a certain position but slightly to the left. wouldn't the pan tilt be good? so these recommendation doesn't pan tilt. would a bullet camera but better since you can at least adjust the attachment?
