when repairing the database.. it generally crashes when it gets to 15%. I've tried deleting the files that pops up in that area.. but now it leads me to believe that its not the files but something in blue iris potentially with my setup

New Drive Is the actual local ssd.. its about 256gb.. and then stored drive 8.18tb.. while the nas is 17.4tb

But the things is, that the value is actually correct if it would read the files thats currently in the folder..

When it starts scanning during a rebuild.. and it gets to generating.. It seems to hang at 15% and crashes...

I really cant lose the clips.. Theirs a total of 15tb of clips for a business....

So any idea how to fix this…

Getting over allocated shortage error under blue iris status.. Tried deleting the database as well as repairing it.. It scans the folders, but its also not adding the clips back to blue iris that has been previous recorded. This goes for both local drives as well as footage that is on my NAS...

Wow, this was so long ago.. Blue Iris does delete the footage properly for me now. I would check and make sure the user u are using for blue iris to log into your nas has permissions to delete files. Also, when deleting. Make sure it’s not going into the recycling bin.

I have not because when I got the system, substreams was not a thing. Their was no way for me to keep cpu low

sub streams doesn't work well when you are still using web ui to view it majority of the time. I believe it still uses the full resolutions for that view.Could be wrong. I do have a few cameras that are not being viewed on sub streams

storing data from that far in the past isn't that big of a deal... Which now gets me to thinking of even better ways to optimize storage.

Randomly started thinking about this.. I have a Blue Iris setup with close to 40 cams now... but it only stores the past hour on the ssd and then moves it to other locations.. now I’m worried about that ssd dying.. just wonder if the mechanical drives can handle being directly written too by 40...
