Never worked for me when I had Reolink. It just clears the data and returns it to default. You could try to restore the original firmware if you can find it on their site. Maybe ftp on their server and locate it if they still have it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had the same issue. I just set that zone to blank. It also does that with the pendulum on the living room clock.

If Pre-record is set to to 5 seconds or 100 seconds doesn't matter. The recording should began at 16:47:08 but it will begin at exactly when the motion occurred or a second or two later. No change to the pre-record has any effect on it. Only cams that are set to motion only will behave...

The way I understood was the 1800 is the seconds that the NVR will retrieve data from the cameras SD card if it were to miss it.

Not everyone can make changes to the camera directly via the browser as it requires plugins that no longer work. Some changes don’t require you to see the live camera as you make the change but you can look at the monitor as you make some changes. Unfortunately IVS is not one of those.

I record the main stream. I use the subs for remote viewing and don’t record those. The main stream records at the best resolution. IVS works sometimes and not others so I don’t really like it. I use the regular motion and tweak the sensitivity etc. I get a lot of false motion with fog and bugs...

I aslo find that the pre-record fuction doesn't work in schedule.

So I have motion detection set and a pre-record time of 4 seconds but when I play back the video it's always right at the exact second it says the motion happened or its a second too late... I have tried to change the time on the pre-record in the schedule but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

I’ve used both. Seagate seems a little more noisy. Right now I’m running WD purple 1x8TB and 1x10 TB. No problems so far.

Could maybe use a dremel, just careful with the wire.

You could order a junction box for each camera and put the wires in that. Also if you need to upgrade cameras in the future you won’t need to drill more holes in your siding to mount them.
