It's still an ANPR camera with a radar.
Two distinctive differences are lens focal length (the Milesight goes to 64mm) and the Milesight camera is a 5MP rolling shutter cmos sensor. (Assuming the Dahua ANPR camera is indeed a Global Shutter).
Exactly. I'm sure production costs have stabilized with this model.
Similar in concept, different in design. I would expect a new model with global shutter to increase the roll-out price. I'm sure Andy will let us know as soon as he is able to.

For the 5 series Turret
the firmware still need some improvement, when we get the best pics will share the videos with testing. Next week will have further news. So that is why still haven not release it.
Radar Camera will have more pics on Monday, it's installed on a business building of car washing shop, was busy there at weekend, so have to go there to do more testings on Monday when they are not busy.

I need to purchase 2 of the 5442 - 2k 1/1.8 cameras. I purchased 4 a while back. 1 off your Amazon store and the other 3 from empiretech. The 1 from Amazon had a differert firmware. The ladys home i installed them at had low end 4k dahua oem cams and while she can tell the width of view (all 2.8mm) is smaller, she is super happy with the low light. Said when it snowed the two front cams never went BL/White...stayed in color.
so i had a problem purchasing them with my CC and we went the paypal route. I need one 2.8 amd one 3.6 ...send me whatever i need to do and it's done.
