2CD2232-I5 EXIR vs DS-2CD2232-I5 (Mini Bullet)

If you don't mind the larger camera, get the 2232, it's more than worth the $20

That's the only problem I can see with selling these for my residential installs is that they look huge. They look bigger than my Empire bullet cams!!

Sorry I never followed up.
After a few months of running both, I can say the 2232 is actually better. You'll get better night performance specifically.
As was mentioned, they are big. So if you want visible cameras as a deterrent, then they'll be great. If you want something that is discrete, they aren't.
I wanted a few to aim out toward the front (street and yard) but they're pretty obvious. The 2032's are small and almost not noticeable if you're looking for something that blends in better. As a result I am using a combination of 2232 and 2032 so that my house doesn't look like surveillance central :) For back, side, and even one in my garage, it's all 2232-I5
But price/performance alone, the 2232 is worth it.

My house looks like surveillance central, only partly due to the handful of large cameras I have.

But price/performance alone, the 2232 is worth it.

Good to know!

I'm going to have to get with Milkisbad because I don't see the 2CD2232-I5 EXIR in the latest pricing catalog he sent me.
