Hi guys,

I am looking to purchase Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-I(W) camera from a Chinese web site.
When processing the order, it asks me to choose what Horizontal resolution I like. Options are 380TVL and 540TVL and I am not sure what to choose.

Please help me to understand what is difference between 380TVL and 540TVL and which one to select?

Thanks in advance

It's the way you select lens size and.. it's got nothing to do with tvl

Ok, and is there any table that I can see what TVL equals to what lens size?
TVL has nothing to do with lens size..its old analog nomenclature, ali express simply has no way of selecting lens size so the sellers use the tvl option...you have to look at the ad to see what the seller specifies..

Hmmm it says nothing in detail...just has 2 buttons: 540 and 380 TVL....below it says "Lens (mm): 2.8mm 4mm", then if I like to order 2.8mm, which one to chose: 380 or 540?

380 TVL has the objective of 2,8mm
540 TVL is 4mm lens
Exterior best 4 mm lens.

Thanks vasycara. It will be used for interior monitoring - living room. As far as I understand 2.8mm has bigger view angle->visible area, thats why I decided to go for it...guess not doing mistake
