Adding a hikvion camera to a Dahua nvr

Hi,

Just got a 16 channel 16 port Poe NVR from security camera king and I am having difficulty adding two Poe schemed Hikivision camera’s.
Has anyone done this successfully? If so can you share what you know? I’ve been using the SADP tool to put in o

You probably need to connect as ONVIF devices.
Assuming fairly recent firmware -
Check that ONVIF is enabled in the camera's web GUI, and that an 'ONVIF user' and password has been created.

I changed the IP address to the 10.1.1xxx scheme with the SADP tool as well as the gateway to the same scheme 10.1.1.1.
Then plugged the camera into the nvr Poe port . I then used the nvr’s interface to manually add it as ONVIF . I’ve tried almost every variation of network parameters and still nothing. Really stuck on this one... Strange thing is all cameras were working this morning on my old 8 channel/8 Poe NVR . It is the same make nvr with 16 channels/16 Poe ports. I have other Hikvision cameras exactly the same model that I am having trouble with that is working fine. If you know of another approach to try please let me know.
