Adding an Android Tablet Camera to Blue Iris

I am planning on installing an Android Tablet to contorl my Smart Home devices. I would like to have the Tablet's Camera added to the list of Blue Iris cameras. Is this possible?

There are apps like ipwebcam that allow you to do this but it will stress the tablet and not be a very good camera.

I had an android plugged in long term and it didn't end well, I happened to notice when it began venting and threw it in the driveway before the fireworks started.
