Hello,
I am looking to purchase few NVRs, here are the requirements:
1. 4 POE Ports
2. Supports and can handle 4 x 4 Megapixel cameras
3. Audio in/out
4. Alarm out
5. Supports 4TB drives

Currently using HikVision 7716 but looking for smaller/cheaper options to build few custom systems for a customer. Not tied to a brand but should be comparable quality to Hikvision.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Don't buy low end junk. Try to match the nvr to the cameras.

Mixing brands will greatly limit your ability for feature use like motion, line crossing, intrusion detection, etc. Unless all you want is 24/7 record and remote ability with limited to no ability to use any features or adjust cameras within the NVR don't do what your looking to do above. As fender started assure you have a match set to assure all features and functionality work, it would be a shame to create an "economy" mixed system with to many limitations the client is unhappy or desires more at a later date and doesn't have the ability without a full upgrade.
