AI: not responding

I was getting this at one point. I have a separate sever for CP. It isn't super powerful.

I found that in cases where these was a lot of movement, sometimes the AI would get inundated with requests from three camera. I just increased the AI timeout from 5 seconds to 15.

Am I missing something here all of a sudden now my cameras have stopped recording with this issue and showing alerts this is very frustrating and annoying now. This AI stuff sucks man, man i miss Sentry.

My recording is still working fine, I get AI detection.
Your issue might be due to your record/trigger settings, I would disable any AI confirmations and and check motion triggers work as a first step.

I been using BI for a long time and I still don't get it.
So none of my Alerts are recording anymore. I have changed nothing, other than AI stuff for the longest time and now I get the Alerts but they don't save. And it lists nothing. Did something change?

The empty list is sometimes an indication of a memory leak, or database corruption.
Try these separately and in order:
  1. Reboot the server
  2. DB Compact/Reindex.
  3. DB Repair/Regenerate.
  4. DB Delete & Regenerate.

Does the list show clips?

Just curious, does the Alerts folder contain any files?
It may not if you are not saving hi-res JPGs, AI markups, or AI DAT files.
But if it does contain files, the DB regenerate action should create new entries on the alert list.

OK, you are not saving any alert JPGs (folder is zero size).
This is ok it you that's what you want, but a side-product is that there are no alerts to restore once the DB is deleted.

My point is that the alerts happen but now are now no longer being recorded or showing on the timeline and I have not changed anything on the settings for this to stop working.

Understood. So you are, for example, receiving alert notifications?

Did I miss screenshots of the Alert tab. and AI configuration tab for the camera in question?

I keep 1GB for alerts and set the duration for about the number of days my system stores for.
I'm confused. So the screenshot in post #33 is not the current configuration for the Alerts folder?

That post shows a size of 0 GB, and deletes the alert files once they exceed 0 GB.
