Aliexpress 11.11 deals

Hi all, aliexpress is having their 'black friday' type of event called '11.11' with deals in all kinds of categories.

Did anyone find any good ipcam deals?

These two deals were noticed by me:

Gotta love "specials". It says 21% off but in reality it's like 29 cents. Same camera, same store, different listing but shown side by side when you search AliExpress for IPC-HDW4431C-A


The $47-ish price is fairly close to what everybody else is selling those cams for anyway. Some are in the low $50s.

I had a look a day or so ago at the AliExpress "sales". Most stuff was a few percent lower. I haven't looked too much today for camera stuff though.

I found no deals like Black Friday in the USA. Some items are marked '11.11' but it looks like the regular price was jacked up, making the sale price the same as the '5% off' price. Honestly, I wasn't really expecting any significant deals. The regular and 5% off prices are already pretty low as it is. Add in the included DHL shipping, and you really can't beat it.

For the IP cameras I looked at, it certainly wasn't very large savings.

Thus I am wondering why singles day 11.11 is so big of a deal if the % saved is so low.
