Android TinyCam v BI for 4 camera system?

I really like the user interface (and features) of Tinycammonitor, but cannot get it to record at a resonable rate. I am looking to run around 4 cameras at 2-3MP each. Is is possible to use Android/Tinycammonitor, or do I need to invest in a BI based system?
