Andy do you have a camera that has a better lense than the IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E? all of mine start leaking and fogging up in a year or so

Could you get a glass place to make a replacement maybe?

All plastic is going to fog over time. Might be worth looking for a piece of Low Iron Glass as it's much clearer than standard glass:

Surprised the Turrets don't use this isntead of plastic.

Thank you so much for this post, and a big shoutout to @bigredfish for sharing his post/results showcasing the benefits he experienced from changing the lens. Ever since I bookmarked his post, I was determined to switch the lenses on my cameras to glass instead of plastic/plexiglass. Finally, I had some time and had a local glass company cut out replacement glass lenses for me. Over the past 4 years, the License Plate camera was displaying signs of UV wear on the plastic lens it originally had. I simply wanted a glass lens to so do not have to deal with it in future, and oh man, the difference is night and day! I love it. Now, I have 7 more cameras to go. Lol!

Some pics.. and video of results :)

where can I place my order?
If you want to replace your lens, take the camera down take out black metal part be careful there is a wire.

Than I just used a wood/metal piece which fits in that round area and push the old lens out with rubber mallet.

take it to your local glass shop along with the old plastic lens and the Black Metal Front Plate. This way, they can cut it and ensure that it fits.

Than I used some black silicone

to put the Glass/ lens back after making sure bracket is clean where the silicone is gonna sit between glass and the metal.
