Hi Guys,

I am looking at purchasing a ANNKE 4 Channel NVR system from Ebay (
http://goo.gl/NTVT2c) i have a few questions;

- has anyone managed to get the ANKEE DVR set up in Blue Iris (the 4 cameras)
- As this is a network camera, would it be possible to use it in Blue Iris (if so, what camera setting would i use)

Thanks for your help.

The fact that its an ip camera does not guarantee that it will work with blue iris. the camera will need to be able to provide a video stream in the proper format. If you will be connecting the cams to the NVR, then the NVR will have to stream to blue iris. Some NVR's cant keep up and you will get lots of drops....you may be able to hookup the cameras to a poe switch then stream to both NVR and blue iris. Depends on the cams and NVR...If you are planing on using Blue iris go with some known good cameras like hikvision or dahua 1080p cameras. Why do you need the NVR? backup?

+1 on the Hikvision and Dahua, especially if you are in Oz. Get them from Ali, similar money but way better than ANNKE crap.
