Is the admin PW is in this software:
1) the same PW I gave it when I activated the camera?
2) if yes, its possible to have 2 admin PWs? In other words, the admin PW is actually the cam PW?
The SADP tool is what I would use to change the IP address of the cam?

Cant seem to get a new Annke set up. BI doenst detect it but I think its because I have now been able to change the IP address for the cam. It doesnt show up in BI nor my network. I swear I wrote down the PW I used to activate it but for some reason the SADP tool is rejecting that PW so I can't change anything?

Am I missing anything?

Thank you!

It would be ideal if you could perform a hard reset of the camera and start from the beginning and follow the directions below.

What model is the Annke camera?

Did you make the new IP static or DHCP? you might want to look in your router table ( if you can) and see what IP's are being handed out. You may find your cam was given a diff Ip address by the DHCP server in the router.

Gents I was able to reset the PW using the SADP tool and contacting support.

Flintstone, you sort of highlight an intersting problem.
So the SADP tool assigned an IP address. I used the same in BI and the cam is up and running fine.
Strangely, I cannot see the cam in my list of connected devices. Why is that?
Am using an ASUS router with a Netgear managed switch.
I have another Annke, some Dahua and Reolink cams and none have this issue. But frankly I cant recall how I set those up.
For his Annke I simply used DHCP (checked box in the SADP tool). My other Annke used DHCP too (per the SADP too box is checked).
How to resolve this?

Update: I fixed it by rebooting the router. What a bonehead. Any security tips? I don't allow the cam to access the Internet - implemented that already.

Many routers won't show connected devices if they were not assigned IP's via the router's DHCP server (already have static IP's).
