Another NEW guy in the block

Hi every one. Just waned to introduce myself. I've been reading this forum for two weeks. Very impress of how knowledgable and helpful you guys are. Learned a lot from you. Being high voltage electrician all my life it is interesting to jump in electronics aria since I'm building my first security system in my house. Settle for Dahua cameras and already ordered from empiretechandy based on your recommendation. No question so far. Hope not many in the future.

How high? Really high like abseiling up pylons?

High voltage: like being able to hold a common lighting fluorescent tube in the air, and getting to glow?
Like getting the hairs on your arm to stand up when getting close?
Like worrying your testicles are getting too warm, and sterility is around the corner?
LOL!
I was only peripherally involved with HV, mainly with radio transmitters.....
