Anpviz?

A couple of months ago I bought an Anpviz IP PTZ camera on Amazon, for the money it looked very attractive. There aren't many similar compact PTZ IP cameras on the market. One of my issues has been around the display of the Anpviz network stream and integrating the camera into my cctv setup. Anpviz works with various of my approaches using W10, works too with Linux VLC but for some as yet unexplained reason does not work well with the Raspberry Pi, there's unacceptable excessive latency. My Hikvision NVR sees it as an ONVIF camera but I'll guess too you'll have an issue getting an accurate time setting unless its directly connected to the internet (woh! security risk). So potentially a great camera for the money but it comes with a lot of unresolved issues, latency being the most important issue with me.

avoid these garbage no name cameras.
