Hi

We’ve finally bitten the bullet and have a new PC arriving later this week that we hope to use only for Blue Iris to support our ever increasing number of cameras. The new PC is a Dell Optiplex 7050 i7-7700 7th Gen 3.6ghz, 16GB, 1TB HD, Windoes 10 Pro.

Our current setup appears to be working well, apart from CPU issues. Any advice on how best to set this up would be appreciated. Especially a heads up on any pitfalls we may expect so that we can try to avoid them. We are assuming we would need to deactivate one licence before being able to use the registration key on the new PC?

Thanks in advance
Sam

use the MS media creation tool to install a true clean copy of windows...dont use the dell oem version....install on ssd for optimal performance.

I've imported the BlueIris.reg file as recommended. Only 1 of my 15 cameras is working automatically. This is a different model type to the others. The remaining 14 are IP cameras. Any thoughts why they may not be showing on the screen? I can connect to them outside of BI on the new PC.

TIA, Sam

Via the mobile App I see the same view. I can see them if I view them via SearchPro. It's only happened since I installed BI on the new PC. The old PC is working fine still. I've tried turning the firewall off, but it makes no difference. All cameras have their own IP addresses. I'm sure this is something really simple that I'm missing and need to make one change and they will all come back on, but I've been searching and can't find out what it is. I've tried deleting and reinstalling BI, setting up new cameras before importing the .Reg file, and also running same version as previous PC - 4.7.2.2, but nothing seems to work. Not sure where I should be focussing my efforts - BI, McAfee or PC. Any help really appreciated. Here's my setup

Confirm the ip addresses, passwords and ports are correct...disable mcafee and see if it helps...
also, if your other pc is running, shut it down then restart bi on this pc and see if it works.
I also deleted the wan address you posted...
also note you have a storage over allocation error (not related to this issue) you have allocated more space than your E drive can hold.

delete one of the cameras and manually add it back...dont use find inspect...
So I've done that, still no joy - assume adding a camera manually is following the same process, but just not using the find inspect button?

Definately think it's a BI issue as I've just downloaded an alternative OpenSource surveillence software and was able to get the same camera that I'd deleted and tried to reload in BI working within a few seconds... Does that provide any further help in trying to identify the problem?

Thanks so much for your time today. It's made all the difference

If anyone else has similar problems - (I'm using cheap cameras and they don't support H.264), so needed to switch the H.264/5HW Decode to No on the Video Screen.
