Anyone know of a reputable camera that has the following...

I get "instant" email notifications of visitors to my door via Blue Iris. The speed of the arriving email is quite variable and even if I pull out my phone the instant I hear a ding, unlock it, skip the time it takes to open the email to see the snapshots, launch the app, see who it is, and then select the right cam from the display wall and click on the talk button, they'll most likely be gone. That's if the email arrives quickly. Sometimes there's a 30+ second delay from the trigger to the ding of the arriving email. I have 2 way talk capable cams at both my front and back doors (among other places) and haven't bothered to put in a speaker. It'd useful mostly if I were monitoring Blue Iris while working or web surfing and saw someone coming. Talking to visitors who come blind and I have to wait for notifications and things to sign in and launch? Too time consuming.

I appreciate the info guys. I've been spending hours trying to build up the knowledge to get this build going properly, and i just keep finding more useful info. Thanks again!.

Doorbird is smart door bell. In currently testing, and it does work with blue iris to give you a 24/7 security camara .oh! It doesn't actually upload to cloud!

Current downside is I cannot get it to work with my q see nvr. ( demoing blue iris ) was told more onvif support on its way

I wired up a doorbell sensor to my NVR and paired it up with the Mini Black Face PTZ: How-To: PTZ Control via DoorBell & NVR

I've since expanded it with a pressure mat sensor so it picks up people knocking on the door, or leaving packages/spam/etc.. Dont have two way audio, I could but I dont really see the point.. when you ring the door bell or step on the sensor mat the lights come on after a short delay so that gives the effect that someone's home, even if im not.

it'll push realtime video to my phone if I wanted, but I prefer a simple snapshot that my home automation provides.

Thanks for the link. I was thinking of doing something like that for a friend of mine, but I can't find the pin out for the relay on the manufacture data.

Your videos are very clear! I don't think my q see are that clear :(. Its mostly running on default setting...
