Hi all,
Just stumbled across this and thought it was interesting. I've not backed it but am tempted out of sheer interest:
Website says: "SimCam adopts the Intel deep learning VPU, it can recognize reappearing faces, distinguish between human intruder and pet movement without triggering false alarm. With local storage, it does not only save you from Cloud service fees, but also facilitating data analysis, most importantly, your privacy is guaranteed. Features 1080p full HD, 2-way audio and Wifi connectivity, SimCam has everything you expect in an AI security camera."
On the demo videos it does look like a good way of minimising false positive motion alerts. Obviously the optics aren't going to be Dahua Starlight standard, (I did find it interesting how they branded their night vision "Starlight" though)
