Is there an AV (anti-virus) or similar software that works well on a BI PC?
 
Any reason you don't just use windows defender? Far less resource usage than any of the 3rd parties. Can say I've never seen a virus on any of my machines. And my work laptop gets plugged into a lot of different networks.

Defender has been consistently shown to be weak on av tests...
Norton has no detectable impact on a pc..Symantec Norton Security Deluxe "Zero impact in performance tests. "
It doesnt really matter for me as BI is not installed on any systems that surf the net...I buy the norton licenses in packs of 5 users for about 20 when they go on sale...so I always have extra licenses....I use both norton and defender...
some users will inevitably surf on the machine - in that case I recommend norton..
