Noob here...I have a few Hikvision DS-2CD2132F-IS cams and have a few concerns about their security. I there a way to enforce HTTPS communication only? Is that a bad idea and will Milestone Xprotect have any issues? Besides password strength, are there other recommended security measures I should take? Eventually I want to enable access to the over the internet, but not before I feel they are secure.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Welcome to the forum..milestone has a webserver/client that supports https..there is no need to enable it in the camera...dont forward or expose the cameras at all.
