I am running V4.5.7.2 x64. Memory usage keeps increasing to max 100%. I have 12 cameras, and using the WEB server. Running win7 64 bit 16GB memory. I5 processor. Is there a way to run bluIris without the screen display and might that reduce processor usage?

Thanks for your thoughts,
A;

if memory usage then you have a memory leak....you dont state the processors...search memory leak here..you need latest intel driver...
you dont state camera resolution..start reading the forum..hardware acceleration, direct to disk is a must..

I thought I said I5 processor. Camera resolution is 1920 x 1080, 3 cameras are 980 approx. Direct to disc is ON, HW acceleration is on. Thanks for quick reply.

I5 is a meaningless term....need exact model

Model number is off...are you logging in remotely..also answer other questions..
Sorry missed the "0" i5-4440. I am on the machine running BI. I am not sure what you mean memory or CPU. I am not sure what other questions I missed.
thanks

your post is unclear..what is 100 percent, cpu or memory usage? what are your frame rates?

CPU usage is 100%, memory is about 40%, Frame rate is between 10 and 15FPS. I am sorry I am so stupid, some of your questions are a little vague. "is it memory or cpu" is a very vague statement.
Thanks
Al

its not vague if you go back an read your original post and my reply...when i use my cell to type it will be short..
go back and check EACH camera an ensure it is set to direct to disk...
is your monitor 1080p? or 4k?

I do not know what you mean discrete card. Only Intel hd is something that has tobe enabled, if so how? Thank you

I'm ensuring you don't have a graphics card installed.. there is something wrong here...

The graphic card is NVidia Geforce 8400 GS. Intel graphics 4600. I have no idea how the graphic card should be set up. I use it for dual monitors.

Only some motherboards allow using Intel HD with a discrete card simultaneously... remove the card and test..

Seeing the same behavior on my install, with memory climbing within a minute or two to 100% then the machine starts to swap and grind to a slug in performance. Have been running the same hardware config for a year or two with no issues, had to reinstall/rebuild earlier this week with clean install of Windows 10 Pro on same hardware. Running 12 cameras, always ran about 4-5GB before, now consuming all 8GB on machine.

My install ran fine since 5/26 after rebuild until last 24 hours where this started. I see two windows updates added KB 3173427 and KB4019474 added in past 2 days. Rolling those back to test now. Same issue repeated when I rolled back BI to 4.5.1.x and 4.5.5.x

your issue is different...its a memory leak likely related to intel hd drivers...search memory leak.
