Are you running the demo mode or paid version of 4?I am experiencing a 10% CPU utilization increase from version 3.66.00 to version 4.0.0.10. I am using a i7-4770 with windows 8.1 as the OS.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I have not been monitoring it closely but my CPU usage seems to have dropped from75-85% typically to 45-65% now (Windows 7 Pro, Intel Core i5-2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core, 8GB RAM).
Yes! I was and notified blue iris support.
I find this discrepancy interesting..some folks see in increase while others see a decrease. What cameras are you using? Are you recording direct to disk? There have been reports that when using direct to disk, the cpu use drops when using the paid version over the demo....I am running 7 hikvision ds-2cd2032-i cameras. Recording direct to disk in BVR format.
