First (and only?) coyote pup of 2026:



I normally see pups earlier, and usually a litter of 3-5, and once as many as 7.

So maybe they're having a tough year, or maybe she's been taking them on a different route.

You could use a trailer hitch on that truck with a ball that fits the splitter.

Max towing speed on that splitter is 45 mph, and it was an hour away by freeway. But yes, for local service visits &c, I can tow it. Now I just have to get a hitch installed on my own car.

She was supervising! It's a very important job. But she contributed significantly effort at the end; it was really hard to pull uphill, even on that gentle slope. We were both sweating by the time we were finished.

Who adjusted the aim on my camera?



I set up an IP camera to make a long time-lapse of my grape vine growing up my trellis. A few days ago I noticed that the angle had changed, which is weird because the camera is tucked up under my eaves, in an area where nobody goes.

Well, maybe not nobody.
