Greetings. I bought this Blue by ADT Camera at a garage sale second hand. I don't even remember where it was. I'm wanting to set it up, I hoped tiny cam monitor or something would work. I downloaded the ADT app to my phone, but it won't install without an email associated at time of purchase, which I have no way of knowing. Is there any way to make use of this camera for simple monitoring or is it just garbage? Thank you

Garage sale ADT camera .. do we have any more information on the camera ?
I would be surprised if you got the camera to stream anything without having an ADT account an/or using the app to scan a QR code to attach that camera to that account, but below at the bottom of the page is the reset instructions:

Is it too late to get your money back? If you only spent a couple of bucks, you should just keep them......in the box they came in. That is my $.02.
Thank you all for the replies, the camera is a wireless outdoor security unit, I could the model number for you, but I spent a whole 12 bucks on it, it looked new in the box with everything but the USB charge cable. I've cobbled together more then a few monitoring setups using webcams and old cellphones using I spy, tiny cam, ip webcam, VLC etc, I just guessed that this would work the same. I can't remember if or how I would get the ip addys of cameras now, if I could get the ip for this one I'd have hope. I am interested in ir stuff tho, it seems like there is curious stuff about us that goes unseen unless observing with the ir, any of you into that as well?

It's likely DHCP so after a reset it may get an IP from your router which should show in the router's DHCP clients / devices list.
Once you get an IP, Fing or the like can perform a port scan.
