Hi all,

Just new to this forum and already got a question :)

I'm using BI 4, one of my cameras is at the front of the house.
I have masked the street but still the software records if a car comes by with headlights full up.
Is there an option to tweak this?

thnx,
Dave

The Hot spot feature (The red mask) means that it will always trigger on any motion in that area. I don;t think that's what you want is it ?

What avi6581 said...the mask needs to be black...also disable object detect reject on all your cameras or you will miss motion.

Thanks guys. Will change it right now!
Also remember its always better to capture more than less. So your detection thresholds should be lowered, lower the make time, to something like 0.7 and move the object and contrast size to the left..You might also want to increase your break time to 20 seconds.

Another thing to consider is that it is capturing the light beam motion from the headlights and not just the car. My porch cam always turn on before someone comes up at night because th emotion detection light on the driveway turn on triggering the camera.
