Hey Team recently i configured my email setting on the BI options.. shortly after doing this i am receiving these emails with an overview of all my cameras and system that is becoming really annoying.. i reached out to BI Support and the answer they gave me was not helpful at all..

The Email has info like this..

"3/16/2016 7:59:58 PM PTZ: MOTION (223)
3/16/2016 7:59:24 PM Clips: Stored: deleting 3 files 68.2M [109/336, 20537/20480, 1849278] (49)
3/16/2016 7:59:24 PM Clips: New: storing 12 files 80.2M [29/96, 10319/10240, 1849278] (66)
3/16/2016 7:52:23 PM Garage: MOTION (9)"

Does anyone know how you turn these email off??

Hey Fender

Found it.. I hadn't seen those options.. quite hidden lol

I asked them

"Just a quick question where do i toggle to disable these alerts? I configured my email in the program and i can't locate where do i turn off these alerts got 20 in just 1 night." And i took a screenshot of the email i received to make it easier..

I got

Hello,

Yes the basic way to do this is with the configuration of profiles. Profile 1 and 2 can be configured identically if you wish, with respect to recording etc. However, they may differ in the types of Alerts that are triggered.

You can change the active profile and schedule with the mobile client apps.

LOL!

I see the misunderstanding, the word "toggle" implies being able to switch back and forth on the fly...the answer above will allow you to do that...

I understand, they mentioned profiles because they assumed you wanted to toggle those specific alerts on/off using the mobile app/desktop server rather than permanently disable it. Using profiles is the way to do it.

I would like to understand what the numbers mean on those status messages. Specifically given that I have a wifi camera and I receive messages like :

12/15/2016 4:43:13 PM RearCamera: MOTION (48)
12/15/2016 4:23:58 PM FrontCamera: Signal: restored (233)

What does the (233) represent.

Also what does the (48) represent for motion.

Thanks
