I'm a fairly new user of BI but I've had a system running for the past 4 or so months with a couple dahua cameras with good success.
I recently purchased a Pelco Spectra HD PTZ camera for my system which I don't seem to be having much success at all with, I set the camera up in BI but cannot get it to function correctly.
In the configuration page if I set the model to JPEG the video stream works but the quality is average however if I set the model to Starix, Spectra IV RTSP the quality improves majorly however the stream will only run for 4-5 seconds then stop for a few seconds then stream for another 4-5 seconds ect. The PTZ controls are also laggy to the point of being unusable.
I have tried adjusting a couple settings and checking/unchecking a few boxes but haven't had any luck getting any improvements, I know this camera is fairly old now but I had hoped it would be better.
Would anyone have any suggestions?
