Blue iris picture quality vs cam app quality

Hi,

I have just recently installed a Blue iris system and couldn’t get to notice the picture quality is not as sharp as it is from the dedicated apps I have for the individual cameras.

One of the Cameras in question Is the Amcrest 6mm 4K 30fps bullet camera, which I am running at 20fps.

It’s not just thIs Amcrest camera, but both my amcrest cameras, as well as my Amcrest doorbell. My Sunba illuminati PTZ, and my reolink witeless dome camera. They are all crystal clear through their supplied apps, but all slightly degraded on the blue iris app and web browser, both on the live feed and playback.

If you look at the picture that I have digitally zoomed in on from the Blue iris app, and then the same again from the Amcrest app.

Can anyone help me out there to fix this issue?01A1A60E-BF06-4489-BAE8-88903A632B75.jpeg

Would be Easy for you to check whether the image quality improves with hardware acceleration OFF for this camera? There have been a few threads recently discussing some image quality issues (possibly) introduced by Intel acceleration.

Still the same.

what I have just noticed though, is if I go on the pc and hold the right mouse button down and zoom in on the specific area as a digital zoom it is fine.

However on the blue iris iOS mobile phone App as pictured below with acceleration switched off, if you stretch the picture out within the app it is not too clear. There is no other way to digitally zoom in on the blue iris app, and I would need to go on the pc everytime or use the dedicated camera apps.

I do not have that issue on my ios device when using the blue iris app. I only use the app when i am at home. When i stretch the picture out it is clear for me. All my settings on the app are at default.

When I use digital zoom on the pc it is fine, but when I use the app it goes pixilated slightly and not as clear as what it is on the pc.
