Blue Iris Resellers & Upgrades?

Hi all,
I know there is quite a few Blue Iris resellers. When they sell you a licence key for Blue Iris Pro 4, will this work when Blue Iris decides to move up to version 5 etc? Or does the licencing model only work for the "version" purchased?

No regardless of where you purchase it from it will not work for a new version... In the past the developer provided 50% off...

The discount is when he moves to a new version it's not a regular thing... It's for those who have a previous version and want to upgrade to the newer one... If you can't afford the $60 for Blue Iris I suggest you forget the entire idea of using it...
