Bricked hikvision DS7216 hqhi f2/n

Hi, I have a ds7216 hqhi f2/n DVR which I updated with the wrong firmware, The unit took the new firmware until the dvr restarted.
It is now in a boot loop, constantly restarting, I have connected USB TTL which I can stop the boot process. It then asks for ip of device 192.0.0.64, ip of server 192.0.0.128 press y to upgrade.
But the firmware which is in the same folder as TFTP64 does load.
I have tried pinging 192.0.0.64 which I do get a reply of about 9 pings, but as soon as I stop the boot process it drops the pings.
Also I am pretty sure I have the original build firmware.
Can anyone help.

When prompted to update (y/n): Type b and enter, you will gain access to busybox HIKVS# then type following:

In tftpd options have you set default dir root of tftpd?

Yes have added digidav file to tftp dir

I tried it on another laptop, and followed the same procedure as you explain, And it worked 1st time, so now have a working DVR.

chinese model, which has also bricked as english or ML was updated to it. is this something you can help with? or do i have to open another forum?

you need to flash chinese firmware
