Nobody is being jailed for memes, stop peddling garbage designed for the gullible. Where the fuck did critical thinking skills go, I swear it's done deliberately to stop the population thinking for themselves.
On the topic of this thread being proof: There are some videos of arrests, I don't have an X account as I object to being tracked and having my data harvested by the big corps to use to pedle their version of media to me. An arrest is not immediate prison time (often not for a long time because the justice system is fucked because it takes so long, but that's a different problem); some of these hooligans jailed recently were setting fire to hotels etc- last I checked arson/criminal damage was a "legitimate" reason for jailing someone.
Kid in the GB news video isn't a reliable source, I don't trust that video any more than I'd trust a video saying that 5G gives you COVID.. I'd have loved him to post a video from the class showing the truth.
Musk isn't bringing attention, we already know about it, he's spouting a lot of crap that is muddying the waters, I thought foreign interference in politics was generally frowned upon, how come it's fine when Musk does it? Why doesn't he go home and fix his home country?
Not sure what the problem with that guy being elected to mayor is, he's got a degree apparently, it's not a particularly powerful role, they can get rid of him if he turns out to be useless at the job!

The memes highlight exactly why the government and politics is fucked (not just the UK, USA suffers from it too; both sides just generate a bunch of images with captions to suit their agenda. It's like a less smelly version of animals in a zoo throwing turds at each other, what the fuck is it going to actually achieve?
Meanwhile, in the real world, the issue is not so much of current on-goings, but of how badly it was handled by those in charge. I don't think anyone is questioning the awful things that happened (and, I don't doubt, are still happening). It would be funny if it wasn't so serious, the conservatives were in power for the last 14 years and as soon as the opposition get in power, they start crying about things that should have been done....
I much prefer to use my eyes and ears to observe what is going on around me, rather than sit and digest content a corporation is hosting and serving up to me... Perhaps politics could be actually debated sensibly, and solutions could actually be reached, if this was more popular.

Who says that X tracks anyone? Also, if they do, how does that differ from any other social media platform ... including this one? You can't communicate much on the Internet without someone tracking you - X is hardly an outlier.
No genuine 'conservative' has 'been in charge' of the Executive or the Legislative branch of Britain since Maggie Thatcher. Also, the problem has increased by geometric proportions as the flood of anti-West immigrants has continued. Reality 101.
