Interesting post as I need to install a cam to a vertical wall given that there is no eaves. 4mm lens should be fine in my case. I need to cover an area which is 26feet wide and distance to the target (patio) is 26feet too.

My dilemma is either going for a turret or a mini bullet. I find the turret to be more compact. Rain is less of a problem but dirt and dust is. Defo dont really want to keep cleaning the lens from dust every so often.

I am curious whether the water on the lens issue was sorted after you have installed turret camera in your driveway Pozello.

There are the models I have shortlisted.
DS-2CD2T55FWD-I5 E - bullet (30cm in length)
DS-2CD2055FWD-I 5MP Ultra - mini bullet
DS-2CD2085FWD-I - mini bullet
5MP Network Turret IP Camera DS-2CD2355FWD-I - Turret
