8000274c. After attempting to Run as Windows service. I see to the right of the above choice “LocalSystem” which I believe it shouldn’t be. My connections to my switch may be wrong too. Is there anyway to revert BI to default and start over? Or is anybody available for TeamViewer?

Switch: #2 is going to the camera, #3 to the computer, #5 to the AT&T modem
Switch’s LED’s are flashing.

How about supplying more information, such as version of BI, camera make and model, IP address of router, computer and camera.

Try rebooting your system, log in and see if BI is running as a service (Ctl+Alt+Del), select Task Manager, select Services tab. For most cameras, you should be able to connect to it using your browser via it's IP address, can you get to it with chrome, firefox, etc?

I have my BI set as a service and it's set to localsystem.

The "Default Gateway" and the "Computer" cannot both be 192.168.1.254, that IP is most likely the AT&T router (gateway); PC should be a different IP in that subnet of 192.168.1.XXX.

Try setting the BI server's LAN to a static IP that is outside of the router's DHCP pool (192.168.1.222 will likely work).

I couldn’t find how to set to “static” but I did find this.

Those two are not what you are looking for. Well the 2nd one is how to change the camera IP.

You need to log into the router itself to change the IP address.

You cannot change the IP of the computer in the BI menu. You need to manually change it in the computer itself. Go into the internet settings and change the IP address of the computer to a different IP than the router.

I changed the .254 to .250 via Windows 10, restarted everything and still camera won’t connect. I couldn’t find “static” vs DHCP in my AT&T fiber router.

Since both the PC and the gateway were .254, which one did you change?
I couldn’t find “static” vs DHCP in my AT&T fiber router.
As mentioned in my post #5, you configure the PC with a unique static IP that is outside of the router's DHCP pool; you do that in the PC as mentioned by @wittaj , you don't do that in the router:

Default Gateway 192.168.1.254​
Computer 192.168.1.254 222
Camera 192.168.1.200​

Open up a command prompt window (click on search near the Start button on Windows and type in: cmd). In the command prompt window,
type in: ipconfg

This should show you your computer IP Address and your Router address, as shown below. In this example, the computer is 192.168.1.5 and router is 192.168.1.1. Your computer IP address should be different than your router IP address.

Based on the IP address of your router as 192.168.1.254, I assume you are on ATT, so your Default Gateway would be 192.168.1.254 and your computer IPv4 Address should be different than that. Looking at the user manual for the Arris BGW320, you should be able to log into it. At least for this model it is showing that DHCP addresses start at 192.168.1.64 and most likely end around 192.168.1.25x. Based on user manual:
If you haven't downloaded the Amcrest IP Config tool, you should do that, see:

Start the software, it will search for your camera. You should see a list of camera(s) and it will show you the IP address of the camera (in my case, it's 192.168.0.119, yours should be something like 192.168.1.xxx). All the way on the right of the camera listed, you can click on the Internet Explorer (the "e") icon. This should bring up the login window in the browser.

Try logging into the camera using your browser, this will ensure you know the login/password for it. If you can log in, then go to BI and create a new IP camera, enter in the IP address, login/password and click on Find....

Once you have everything working, I would recommend that you read the following thread. Most of us isolate our cameras from getting out to the internet for security reasons. The simplist way is to have two network cards in the computer (others use a more geeky way, requiring additional equipment, via VLANs).

If you enter a static IP in Windows settings it frequently will not show in Ipconfig until you reboot your pc.
