camera on top of chimney top?

I am not seeing this very much so my gut tells me it's a stupid idea - What's everyone's though on putting a PTZ on my chimney top?

What are you trying to do ?

If all you want is what happen then this may be ok. It is useless for determing who did it . Cameras need to be mounted low about 6-7 feet up.

See around the house and street - I have 4 fixed low, this is a 25x color pelco that I picked up and really didn't have a use for.
