Camera suggestions for dark areas at night

Is there such a thing as turtle bacon? If so, it's likely VERY expensive.
</end crude attempt a humor, this inserted to compensate for no body language or facial expressions available to properly comvey this overly verbose post>

:winktongue:
Hell, it might even be illegal in some states

And this is why I think the "younger generation" (not sure how far back) is going to have trouble in the future with in-person, one-on-one relationships. When you spend way too much time texting or emailing and less time talking face-to-face or at least talking on a phone you don't learn how to observe, interpret and use body language, facial expressions, etc. and in most cases (when no audible phone) voice inflections to actually know with any accuracy if a person is mad, being sarcastic, being rude or trying to be funny.

IMO this is also the reason why a phone conversation can detract tremendously from a person's driving ability because of the intense focus on the voice to compensate for no body language or facial expressions available.......only voice.

Agree.
See most people who only know me online would probably think I'm an asshole.
It's true I AM and asshole, but without being able to talk face to face you may think its just an online thing :)

And the anonymityof being online brings out the keyboard warrior syndrome in some and they are empowered to be the true dick that they are but would not dare do so in person.

I can see that being easy to fall into.

Years down the road when this thread is found in a search, someone is going to think to themselves: what in the world happened in this post, it went from cameras to turtle bacon in hurry. Nothing like derailing the subject

As a good railroad friend said to me, if you're going to derail and spill cars on the ground, you better make it spectacular. Don't do a half-assed job, be proud of your accomplishment, so you have a good story to tell your grandkids :D

bigredfish started it, then flynreelow gave it a spin and tried to do my part but it was somewhat doomed from the start...maybe not enough boobs, sex, guns, ammo, hunting, cars or arjun stuff. :idk:

Ok, I'm lost on the Arjun reference, maybe someone can provide a link to the Arjun inside joke?

There are 3 Gel Packs in the Dahua N45EFN2, You can access one of them that is close to the lens by just removing the bottom door and there is 1 pack behind the Micro SD slot/reset button PCB. Normally it is tapped in and the tape they use is very strong lol. So if that is all you care to replace as the other 2 are deep in the camera. it might be best to remove the 2 screws that hold the MicroSD on the heatsink. Because of the way it is screwed down can be a PITA to install it back. But if you are going to go and take the front plate off to gain access then might as well do all 3 lol. I have a second one that is doing Face Recognition that I installed almost 2 years ago now so it is do for new Gel Packs this year. So I would be willing to Make a Video of the swap. The 2 packs that are behind the Heat Sink inside is mounted between the Main PCB and Power Board PCB.. I don't know the area your camera came from but your packs might be in good enough shape if the camera came from a normally dry area. My area if you don't change them out the inside lens will fog up and even had one camera with water in the lens cover bottom that lucky for me was below the PCB area in the body.. So now I do it like Spring Cleaning, Something I don't want to do but if I don't something will go wrong so have to lol.. I know it has only been a few days but did you get your new to you camera yet?
