Built an HTPC a few years ago that I no longer use...

AMD A6-3500 - AMD A6-Series AD3500OJGXBOX Triple-Core A6-3500 APU - 3MB L2 Cache, 2.1GHz (2.4GHz Max Turbo), Socket FM1, Radeon HD 6530D (320 Cores), Dual Graphics Ready

ASRock A75M-ITX FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

Crucial Ballistix 1866 2 x 4gb

Would this be sufficient to run 8 Hikvision 4mp cams on BlueIris? I may switch to 2mp Starlight Dahua's (which is the reason I'm really asking as I have a Hik NVR right now).

Does BlueIris offer a trial mode? Maybe I can buy a POE Gigabit switch and test it out.

That system is too weak...there is a trial but it will never run on that for your load.
