Cant get the mobile app to connect with firewall on

Title pretty much says it all. IF my firewall on the computer is on. The computer software works fine, but I can't connect via the BI app (Android or Apple) If I turn off the firewall then I can connect the mobile app without any issues. Any suggestions on what to do? Or do I just need to keep the firewall off.

Leave the firewall on..create an exception for blue iris. What firewall are you using? See the networking section of the help file.

Mcafee. I thought I had an exception for BI I'll double check that again I'll also look at the network section of the help file.
