Perhaps THIS is why the gun kept malfunctioning....

Something fishy going on hereNot sure I buy the pistol ID. First off, if it does have a built-in suppressor and bought legally, it takes ID and time to get the tax stamp. They are not just handed out same-day.
From the article:
"Investigators recovered 9mm shell casings and live rounds at the shooting that were adorned with the words "deny," "defend" and "depose," written carefully with a sharpie."
So if it WAS a single action bolt type of pistol, why were there live rounds ejected? Ejecting live rounds is consistent with a malfunction, not a typical working of this gun.
Again from the article:
"Police have taken keen interest in a gun sale in Connecticut -- involving a highly-uncommon weapon that appears similar to the one seen in the video of the killing. "
So they are thinking he went to Connecticut and bought this? A state with restrictive gun laws? Do you really think a gun store there would sell to someone that without checking their ID? Not following the regs about ATF Tax Stamp? Waiting periods?
Perhaps THIS is why the gun kept malfunctioning....
