Yeah, but how and where would you store video at 108mp and probably at 30F/ps? If less than $200 is all you get for your kidneys, you're selling yourself short. That iPhone is over $1000 and then some.

So go buy eight iPhones and STFU. That's total out to about $10,000 and you'll have your cherished 108mp. It's the market and what the market needs. Surveillance video does not need to be 108mp plain and simple.

Why dahua dont have a quality 8MP camera? While Hikvision have the G2 8mp min.illum 0.003lux camera? 5442 and 3241 and 2231 is bomb But 8mp Hikvision wins Maybe Dahua is little late because of the covid ? What you guys thinking?

Hi Is it better to take hfw3541e and downscale to 4mp? Or take hfw3441e? The 3541 is 1/2.7" and the 3441e is 1/3" Anyone have any experience with those?

Hi DMSS not really show the full quality of the cameras, very noticable when digital zoom in.. Is there any App that can show in real Main Stream quality?

The chip shortage isn't going away anytime soon. It's likely the export ban not COVID.
Whilst ever Xi is in charge of China and the hostile attitdue towards the West and Taiwan continues, the situation won't improve. The only way it's going to resolve in the meantime is if China copies the lithography or develops it's own chips to replace the ones banned.
