Morning, I have about 6 Hikvision/LTS IP Turrets in a residential setting. I'm using BlueIris as the DVR and have that set up pretty well. I wanted to know about the settings at the actual camera. For example, I've noticed that when I change the setting in Video/Audio > Video Quality > from default "Medium" to "Higher or Highest" the feed distorts after a short time. The cameras I have are CMIP3042, CMIP3142-28S, and CMIP3042-28. I attached a screen shot. Any recommendations or tweeks to get better quality day/night would be very appreciative.

Few other questions... I Frame Interval? What does that specifically do?
Any settings in the "IMAGE" tab to be tweaked? Specifically the "Digital Noise Reduction" > Normal? and what level?

THANKS!

iframe interval should match the fps..
Hey fenderman,
I've had LTS Cams/NVR for about 2 years now and I've tried to change (using different browsers as well) the iframe to match the fps multiple times only to have iframe revert back to 50.
Has anyone been able to make the iframe change stick?
(sorry for hijacking...:))
Thanks!

are you using h.264 or h.264+? Where are you making the change, the nvr or the camera?

I have a few LTS NVR's in play currently and I can adjust the iframe rates without an issue directly in the camera setttings and they save. Just assure you have Virtual Host enabled and access the cameras directly to configure

NVR.IP.Address.1:6500X with X being your NVR camera port/id once you have VH enabled.

@fenderman:
I am using h.264. I am making the changes via the cameras using FireFox browser by NVR IP address then going to Camera Managment then to IP Camera.

@ zero-degrees:
I have Virtual host enabled and I access the cameras directly to configure via the method above.

I just changed all IFrame from 50 to 30 and saved. Logged out of the NVR, closed the browser and when back to check and it's back at 50.
