I'd love to have all recorded clips to get archived after 1 day.
I have played around with the setting, but am not sure why it is not working.
Right now I am getting more than 1 file per day. Below are the screen shots of my settings and the files produced.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.

It's completely pointless to move files from one folder to another on the same Drive...

The Queue to convert is on a D drive. Please recommend how I can achieve the results I am looking for.

Why are you wasting processing power to convert to mp4.... File sizes are setting the record tab combine cut settings

Can you share your settings? I'm not following what the problem is.
Ideally all I want to do is export all video from each camera to my NAS.
If I choose the delete option on the New Folder, it takes away the ability to Queue for Convert.
So I chose to move it to the Stored folder & Queue for convert.

record tab>combine and cut...
my point is that there is not reason to convert and export to another drive...simply place your stored folder or create another folder on the D drive and move the original bvr file there.

My goal is to watch them on my media center TV, where I have a mapped drive to the NAS.
I cant watch native blueiris videos on the TV, but I can watch .mp4 files.
I would like to watch yesterdays events on my large media center tv.
This is reason why I decided to use an export.
Attached are my record settings.
They appear to be set to combine videos within 8 hours or 4 gigs.
The videos I am seeing written to the NEW folder are small (much smaller than 8 hours) and definable smaller the 4gigs.

makes no sense to manually watch mp4 files...defeats the purpose of a vms...find a way to view the blue iris pc on your big screen...then you can watch synchronous playback of multiple cameras as well as easily scrub the timeline.
they will not all be 8 hours...it depends on how the day is divided by the software...see the help file on combine and cut for an explanation.

It would be great to watch all the cameras together. Are you proposing a remote desktop client from the TV to the PC? If something else please advise.
I want to make sense..:)

a remote connection may be ok depending on how much cpu you have to spare...a better solution would be to output the pc to the tv..
generally folks dont sit in their living room and review footage...

It isn't really clear what you want to archive.
Do you want to see your cams live on your TV or do you want to play back your archived records on your TV?

I want a folder on my NAS to have 1 mp4 file per day exported to it.
I would like to watch the video on my TV the following day.
I only want 1 file per camera per day.
Is this possible, if so how?
