Hi all, and especially Fenderman.
Firstly, I do really appreciate the work you do for this forum.
firstly pt 2, if not fenderman, I appreciate any help anyone else can offer
Secondly, prob answered in the forum and if so I apologise.. I have several(5) cameras at fairly regular fp12-15.
a couple of continuous record 8mp cameras on 18mp (need the details as best as I can get)
If i am to clone the 8mp and have them record elsewhere will this impact cpu usage, in any way?
I use it as a service and not from remote desktop unless having a quick look.
the CPU is i7700k solely for BI and only 8MB ram but does go fairly high. All are direct to the disc of course.
cheers.

the impact should be minimal
see wiki for proper setup - hardware acceleration etc
High memory use can cause high cpu use, see sticky in troubleshooting, high mem use can be related to a memory leak, search memory leak, related to an intel hd driver.
