CodeProject.AI Version 2.0

Yes, it's working, showing results exactly like you show in your screenshots. I get that both with those test images and others actual alerts of mine. The "No Predictions Returned" just happened to be on the images that BI captured at the time of the event in the log in my previous message. I also get solid detection through BI about. I actually thought everything was working 100% until I saw numerous problems like those above (every few hours). In fact, since the last problem, CodeProject.AI has successfully processed over 7800 images, according to the status page.

I'm testing IVS triggers from one of my 5442s. It's triggering tripwires just fine to BI. The problem is that CPAI isn't processing to find anything. I've seen others do this, anyone care to share their Trigger tab screenshots for a working implementation? I must be missing something... Thanks

I'm using pfSense for my router and using 127.0.0.1 for a locally hosted DNS.

How much of a problem is that with CodeProjectAI IP being the same (though on port 5000)?

Yeah, I was getting Error 500 messages on some cameras. Didn't know if I could change the IP address for either one. maybe 127.0.0.2
You know I got to think, on your BI PC I would just point DNS on your NIC to something like 8.8.8.8
Google's DNS, if you are like me you don't use your BI PC except mainly for BI and rarely need to go out to the Internet if at all.

I actually have the VLAN with my BI Server on it set to 1.1.1.1, but my main network uses the locally hosted DNS of 127.0.0.1. (It's a lot faster and I don't steal my data.)

I think the listen ports for the local DNS Resolver are port 53 and 853, so I'm probably clear on port 5000 with the AI.

Pretty sure the local host is the whole 127.0.0.1/24 so anything may work. I might try switching it around.

Installing the latest version of BI caused my system to start taking snapshots of every camera at 5 second intervals, making it basically useless. Had to revert back to the last stable build.

All, I'm currently running v2.0.8 and I'd like to install 2.1.7. On a Windows PC, is best practice to uninstall v2.0.8 and then install v2.1.7. If so, does the Windows uninstaller completely remove v2.0.8, or do I need to also manually remove some things? Thanks!

You will be forced to uninstall it due to the change in how the installer works from 2.1x.

It will remove most things except potentially any custom files/models you may have added in those directories.

So just let the v2.1.7 installer remove v2.0.8, or run the Windows uninstaller to remove v2.0.8 before installing v2.1.7?

I can’t remember off the top my head but I believe if you attempt to install 2.17 it will tell you must uninstall the old one manually first. So just go to add remove and uninstall the old one and then rerun the installer for the latest one.
