Which Object Detection module are you using? The timeout might be when the ALPR module uses the Object Detection module to detect the plate in the image.

I shutdown yolov5.net and installed YOLOv5 6.2 and am seeing the same errors.

Are you on the latest version of CodeProject.AI v2.5.1? If not try updating to the latest version. If you are on the latest version then please post your issue on CodeProject.AI forum.

@Wattstopper101 Yes, ipcam-general is trained to recognize person and vehicle only. Use a different model if you need to detect additional objects. The custom model list is on this page:

Daytime images are usually good with most quality cameras.
You definitely want to check that nighttime images are also clear for moving intruders.

And by nighttime pics, he means with movement of a person or car moving. Any camera can give a good static image.

The quality isn't the best at night on this camera, for a clear picture of anyone around my driveway, but the video quality is much better for identification purposes. I'm pretty sure that if I was to reposition the camera away from the coach lights the quality would be better.

Correct, YOLOv5 models do not work with YOLOv8.

Hi Mike,
I've been having some success training a Yolov8 model. How do I run some yolov5 and some yolov8 models? I don't have a yolov8 license plate model. It seems if I run both modules in CPAI, it either runs both or complains about missing models on each inference.
